Kuwaiti ambassador hosts Iftar for GCC mission, Islamic authorities in Japan

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Japan Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi held an "Iftar" banquet to mark the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan, where ambassadors of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries were invited, the embassy said in a statement on Thursday.
Imam of Tokyo's mosque and Muslim scholars from the Arabic Islamic Institute, as well as embassy staff also attended.
Al-Otaibi said such meetings and mutual visits help promote bonding and increase fraternity, especially during the Holy month of Ramadan, adding adding that an atmosphere of brotherhood and Ramadan spirituality prevailed over the fast-breaking meal.
