H.E. Ambassador Al-Otaibi hosts a dinner in honor of H.E. Ms. Koike, Chairperson, General Council of LDP
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Japan H.E. Mr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Otaibi hosted the dinner in honor of H.E. Ms. Yuriko Koike, Chairperson, General Council of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP). Addressing attendees at the dinner, H.E. Mr. Al-Otaibi delivered the opening speech by expressing his gratitude for H.E. Ms. Koike to be the forefront in building the bilateral relation between Japan and Kuwait, and the Middle East region as a whole. In response, H.E. Ms. Koike showed her appreciation to H.E. Mr. Al-Otaibi for this occasion and stated that the 50 years anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Kuwait and Japan in 2011 will strengthen the existing confidential relation between the two countries. Mr. Yasuyuki Nanbu, Group CEO cum President of Pasona Group Inc. made a toast by wishing for Japan and Kuwait as well as Arab countries to achieve great success, and expecting that H.E. Mr. Al-Otaibi and H.E. Ms. Koike will be the central figures to maximize the friendly relations between Japan and the Middle East. H.E. Ms. Koike was appointed as Chairperson, General Council of LDP on September 2010, making her the first female member of the three top-ranking officials of LDP. H.E. Ms. Koike is also well-known as a prominent Arab specialist, graduated from Cairo University in Egypt.
