Kuwait Takes Part in the NCAF Charity Bazar

The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Tokyo, participated in the 18th Charity Bazaar organized by the Nihon Chukinto Africa Fujinkai (NCAF) (Ladies’ Friendship Association for Africa and the Middle East) on Tuesday October 20, 2015. The proceeds of the bazaar will be channeled to the welfare of children and women in the Middle East and Africa.

Mrs. Chikako ASO, wife of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Japan, attended the bazaar and visited the Embassy’s booth where Mrs Jamilah AL-OTAIBI, spouse of H.E. Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Japan, comprehensively explained to her the Kuwaiti products on display such as traditional Kuwaiti clothing, handicrafts and food products and which were favored by Ms. Aso as well by the visitors. Mrs. Noura AL-BEIDAN, wife of Third Secretary at the Embassy, was also present at Kuwait’s booth.

Mrs AL-OTAIBI pointed out that the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Tokyo is always keen on taking part in this kind of events in order to convey a message of friendship to the friendly people of Japan and offer them an opportunity to grasp an image of our country’s culture and traditions.

Mrs AL-OTAIBI also expressed her appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait for its constant cooperation to the Embassy and its support for these events. This cooperation confirms the will of the Ministry’s officials to assist Kuwait’s diplomatic missions in presenting Kuwait’s cultural assets and values around the world.
